For many the first taste of tea or coffee can become a sensuous love of a lifetime. BOP Slovak coffee produce a variety of high quality products and are as a result the most popular coffee in the Slovak marketplace. Charged with the task of presenting the company's products, the website was made with the goal of reflecting their quality-orientated approach.
An ever changing product catalogue and the need to present accurate and up to date information for the people required the implementation of a more sophisticated system than that which existed to manage the content of the website. Previously, the company's website hadn't allowed it's owners to achieve such lofty goals. The company also wanted to improve their feedback mechanism, enabling them to better meet their customer's needs. BOP were also keen to entertain their visitors so that they might not just head for the contact details section before leave but linger awhile over some more lighthearted content.
We integrated the "typevista" CMS into the company's website and transfered the existing content to this system. The result: it's easy and convenient to add new products or edit existing ones. A more user-friendly, accessible site menu as a replacement of the former Java-scripted one adds intuitive navigation and one-click access to the various subsections of the site. The great design from Miroslav Hrusovsky ably reflects BOP's corporate identity and heralds a great online user experience.
By creating the webpage templates from scratch we removed table layouts and created a more accessible, standard-compliant XHTML layout. Making the new website more accessible both for the disabled and the 'spiders' from search-engines like Google.
To improve the level of customer feedback we added a comment form to each product from which user's opinons are sent direct to BOP's marketing department. There's also a new 'Frequently Asked Questions' section to help users with their journey through the site and their relationship with the company.
Are you tired? Just relax, drink some coffee and have some fun with the new flash game where users can gain points and compete against one another. Periodically, the three best players win a free gift.
The new website, powered by the "typevista" CMS keeps content accurate and up to date. It enables feedback and improved communication with customers. This standards-compliant website is more accessible and keeps customers browsing the site for longer and returning more frequently.
